State Rep running for re-election

Serving you and our community has been an honor of a lifetime. I am deeply proud of the work we’ve accomplished so far. When the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, I acted swiftly with my colleagues to protect and expand access to abortions. Massachusetts continues to lead the nation in reproductive justice and gender affirming care.

We have also made historic unprecedented investments in fixing the T, funding public education, building affordable housing, and repairing infrastructure. Yet there is much more work ahead. I will continue our fight for Medicare for All, housing as a human right, universal pre-K and debt-free higher ed, and a carbon free future to combat the climate crisis.

I am committed to representing you on Beacon Hill and hope to earn your vote in the Democratic primary on Sept. 3rd..

"Growing up the daughter of an immigrant single mother taught me the importance of compassion, hard work, and dedication to my goals. I aim to bring those life lessons with me in service of my community in the state legislature.”

Knowing what I knew about the power of corporations and the ways we as voters can and must exercise our voice in government, I felt compelled to expose and rectify these injustices. This led me to co-found Act on Mass, a statewide grassroots advocacy organization. I built coalitions, worked with legislators, and mobilized thousands of voters to successfully block a $37 million corporate tax break from being slipped into the budget, secure billions of dollars of investment into our public schools, and shift the State legislature to be transparent and accountable so that we can continue to exercise our voice and agency in the halls of power.

I believe voters deserve and have the power to build a government that is transparent, accountable, and accessible to all, and I will continue to fight tirelessly to do so.

Previously, I worked as an antitrust economist and strategy consultant. In these roles, I analyzed the economic damage companies cause when they break the rules of the market—which are already rigged in their favor. Through my experience in the private sector, I understand how corporations marginalize workers and control our government and fight for foundational changes.
