New York City just committed $15 million for trans youth healthcare during Pride Month. Massachusetts can do better.

No but seriously though, 3? That's equivalent to a third of the US congress seats in MA. He is funding
$15 million in healthcare for trans youth, during pride month. It has three components:

Three Components
1. A direct care access fund for providers of gender-affirming care for youth
2. A call and text line connecting residents with resources
3. Research funding to identify gaps in healthcare access
Why This Matters
This is huge. Since Trump's attacks, healthcare providers have stopped providing care for youth.
What We've Won in Massachusetts
After a big snafu to deal with one of the MAGA rep's bigoted amendments, followed by immense organizing pressure from the people, the House for the first time dedicated $1 million for gender affirming care last year, plus another $3.5 million was added earlier this spring.

Nearly 3x more per capita on gender-affirming care.
Look I'm proud of what we accomplished but New York City is about the same magnitude population-wise as the State of Massachusetts, well about 20% more people to be exact. But they're spending almost 3x more per capita on gender affirming care. So let's raise the bar.
I love Zohran but as a proud Masshole I don't like being one-upped by New York, especially if it's about protecting our trans and non-binary youth.
