Erika Uyterhoeven is a Massachusetts State Representative running for State Senate in the 2nd Middlesex District (Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, Winchester). First elected in 2020, she has served three terms, filed 63+ bills, and won 12 amendments. She co-founded Act on Mass, a statewide grassroots organization for legislative transparency. Her legislative wins include free school meals for 690,000 students, ending forced brokers' fees, and protecting abortion access after the fall of Roe. Before politics, she worked as an antitrust economist. She is the daughter of an immigrant single mother.
